Customs, documents and insurance
Cargo does not move without the right papers. We prepare and check the documents, coordinate customs clearance with licensed parties, and arrange insurance with insurers. Customs declarations are filed by licensed customs brokers, and cover is written by insurers.
Customs clearance coordination
Customs clearance is the process of getting cargo released by customs. In Indonesia it is handled by licensed customs brokers, called PPJK (Pengusaha Pengurusan Jasa Kepabeanan).
When to use it
For any import or export that needs to pass customs.
What we handle
- Passing your shipment details to a licensed customs broker
- Checking that the documents are complete before filing
- Coordinating questions from the broker or customs
- Coordinating release and delivery after clearance
What to send us for a quote
Cargo description, HS code if known, value, origin and destination, the Incoterm, import or export, and copies of the invoice and packing list.
